Redwood Viscometer
These instrument are used for determining the viscosity for Oil and petroleum Testing expressed in Redwood Seconds at the temperature of interest.
It is suitable to operate on 220V, 50Hz, single phase, AC supply.
It is made up of silver plated brass oil cup with a precision stainless steel jet collected in a chromium plated both fitted with a heating tube or element and drain cock.
The bath and cup assembly is mounted on a stand with adjustable feet.
It can be used the apparatus is supplied completely with:
Silver plated ball valve,
Spirit level and cover,
The thermometer clip and receiver (capacity 50ml)
Redwood Viscometer (for oils with viscosity less than 2000 sec at the test temperature.
with electrical heating, complete with Dimmerstat.
Another Redwood viscometer (for oils with more than 2000 sec viscosity), the electrical heating element and Dimmerstat is also available.
